David Letterman's Top Ten "Reasons I Joined the AirForce"
#3 "You can't break the sound barrier working at Kinko's"

he he he

Ughh my stomach hurts and I just realized I'll have to get up early tomorrow to get to Granny's on time. My computer is all re-comfiddled now and I am much happier. It actually shuts down again instead of always restarting! :) This time around I'm just not going to put as many programs on it, save the hard drive. Which weirdly enough un-fragmented itself when I restarted it. It doesn't matter, I'm happier. :D

Wednesday, June 26

Well I was going to do this dishes today and I discovered that we only had TWO glasses left. That's only good for 2/3s of the house, thanks. So I went on a hunt through the house and found one dirty one it the kitchen and another dirty one in the living room. That brings the house glass count to four for those of you keeping track. So I thought to myself... "where the fuck are all the glasses?!?!". I shoulda known because they were ALL upstairs like almost 30 it seemed like. I had to take my easter basket up there empty, multiple trips, just to bring down all the cups. Justin apparently likes to hoard them like prescious little pieces of gold until they spawn their own life forms, which tend to smell damn funky. The boy is NASTY! Then I come to find that he stole our bathroom SOAP from downstairs (dah hell?!?!), fingernail clippers, and had a nice collection of pot, bongs, and pipes up there. I am not impressed.

So now that I really wish he were at boot camp or hell, the later preferably, let's move on to more pleasant things. There was a book signing at Barnes and Noble last night. It started at 7 so Mom and I were there around quarter after. We stayed there until around 10:15. Insanity!! Mom was #183 for the signing! So we had some time to kill in the store, I grabbed a copy of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and got about 100 pages in before it was time to go. They have really cool machines in the music section too. You can search albums or artists and listen to samples from the CDs, that was fun.

Yes the party is at Grannie's which is about 15 mins down the road from us. Fifteen minutes! You can handle it. You can also spend the night over there if you like. Nausheena and I are going to be sleeping there... with the chickens. Went over there yesterday to see the baby chick (which is fluffy but bony and peeps a lot) and help Granny with her computer. She thinks that because she's got 3 programs running the computer is being slowed down. Madness. I checked it out and she is fine, just needs to work on mouse usage and opening mail attachments. Speaking of slow computers though! I'm reformatting mine. It keeps freezing and somewhere in the depths of insanity I must have installed something from GAIN because now their goddamn advertisements pop up everywhere and it's making me CRAZY! So that's it! I'm starting from scratch. Maybe tonight if I can get the files I want saved put onto a zip disk. Stoopid, stoopid.

Monday, June 24

I bought myself a manga this afternoon. I figured it was safe. Then I found out that I'm behind on that series and that they've actually published two other mangas that I need to buy so I'll be all caught up in the series. These were published before the one I got today, so I can't read it yet. Woe is me. Oh and it's only been four days since last postage, there was a weekend in there!

Mom and I went to VA Beach Saturday and I discovered that I'm not a beach person. After a few hours I was ready to go. On the plus side I didn't get sunburnt! Lots of lotion most definitely served its purpose. Then Sunday we went to see The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. The title is long but I actually liked it, Dave Letterman just needs to get in touch with his feminity. Today Grace and I saw Minority Report, Colin Farrell is too cute. I just wish I could hear his accent, he pulls a nice American one though. I wonder if it's hard to fake an American accent? It's hard to even think of it as an accent... since I'm AMERICAN.

Party this weekend! I go visit Nausheena at school Friday. I need to let her know I'm coming though. Sounds like a call to email.

Thursday, June 20

New pictures are here. Lots of wonderful pet and family-ness happening.

T-shirt angst? Her nickname is Lisa-P because I think I saw in some Sailor Moon episode where one of the charcters Mina was given the nickname Mina-P or maybe another was called Setsuna-P, I'm not entirely clear on it. But it's just like a petname type thing, it might actually mean something in Japan but I don't know any Japanese so I couldn't tell ya. Caesar chewed a hole in his butt, so I don't know if I want him walking until it heals. No infections thank you! Just Neosporin. :)

Doctor's was a SUCCESS!! No shots for meee, and no blood work! That's my biggest problem with the docs those lame ass excuses to shove needles at me and cause pain for no good reason. We hates it! But I didn't have to get any and she said I'm looking pretty good. Maybe, need a little exercise. That's me talking more than her. The poundage is going up and I was a little worried about how outta breath I got just swimming around Jess' lil pool. No esta bien!!! I got my pictures developed and put online so maybe I'll stick 'em in the photo album. That means I have to delete some old ones though, we'll see.

Ah! My new crush! Tomorrow I see Julie and meet her new doggie. Maybe stop and check out her new house, that's she moving out of. Straaaaaaaange and beaaaaaaautiful world. Oh, the pictures of the shower drawings didn't turn out very well at all. I took two and they stink. Maybe you see them tonight? We have to keep it secret from Momma though, I want her to be surprised. :D

Pork chops, pork chops, I am hungry.

Tuesday, June 18

I'm sorry I really have been meaning to post something longer than two sentences these days. I even sorta pre-wrote it in my head! But my computer is acting like a total bitch. Internet connections are slow, things keep freezing or crashing, I'm having to restart constantly and everything is painstakingly slow, it's just not good. Maybe she's getting old or just tired, soon it'll be about time to put her down. That's right lappy... I'll put you out of your stinky misery unless you start working again! HEAR ME!!!

Right moving past threats to inanimate objects. When I went to the opening of the Chimborazo Medical Museum in Richmond this weekend I got a map! That's right Carrie dearest a new map!! More information about Civil War Battlefields. Before you tell me we aren't driving around to look at the new ones I'll tell you that there are a lot of duplicates that we've already been to, but REMEMBER, we have some that we didn't thoroughly visit before and we are returning to those.

Hmm... I finished the Harry Potter books. A little depressing for me because I get really absorbed in them. So when I finish it's like this great adventure is over and life is boring again or something. Strange, but true. Good stories should be like that, to the point where you get really caught up in them and it's like losing something when you come to the end. Tolkien's books are like that for me too. Maybe it's a fantasy thing. So today I finished up my rebound book, Born Free. Short and interesting with lots of pictures. It was the basis for a movie in the 70/80s I think. About a lion cub that was raised by a British couple living in Africa. Then about three years later they release her into the wild after teaching her to kill and fend for herself. It was actually pretty touching because the lion and the couple were so intimate. At the end we learn that she integrated back into the wild just fine and actually had a litter of cubs. It was nice that the book ended on a happy note like that, I needed it. Now I'm starting on Life in a Medieval Castle like I have this compulsion to just keep reading. I think it's to save myself from boredom.

Tomorrow this will not be the case though! Lisa-P is paying me a visit and she's never seen Harry Potter so maybe we'll watch that or go awandering, who knows. I was supposed to see Julie today but it got messed up, so now it's on for Friday! Thursday is my checkup, bleh, shots and blood. NOT looking forward to it at all. My lump is pretty miniscule so hopefully the needles can stay away from that too. Next week (Mon/Tues) Grace and I can hopefully hang out. I'd like to see Rachelle too, and visit Nausheena. Ugh! Summer is getting away man! But I've got it under control. Yeeeeeah ;)

Sunday, June 16

Aw dammit. Blogger lost my post and I don't feel like re-writing all that shit. >_< Grumpy grump. Still...

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!!! :) (especially MINE)

Friday, June 14

Right not much of note going on here. Yesterday was fun, I'm definitely in favor of Margarita coolers from now on... but not rain. :) Oh the only strange thing really going on is that these past few nights I've been having little stress attacks worrying about leaving for Australia. The time is getting nearer and instead of being excited I'm reluctant and mostly panicky. I don't like it at all because it's interfering with sleep. But it's only really happened twice, I'm just worried it'll start happening more as time goes by. I'm such a worry-wart.

But to move on to something infinitely more pleasant... today is FRIDAY! Since I don't work it's not a yay free weekend kind of thing, more like yay other people will be home and off work (Mom) and I won't be in the house alone with Justin for extended periods of time. I hope he gets a job soon. Very soon. I have the animals for company. But they just lounge around and clean themselves. Ah! I hear the mailman! Time to run into the rain and check the post!! :D

Tuesday, June 11

I was cleaning up part of my room today (a very step by step process, oh yeah I hit the litter box too) and I found this old piece of paper I wrote at work last year. INFO: I worked Merchandise at Kings Dominion that summer. And look how thoughtful I was!

PART I

Guest Flaws
1. Handing over the money, especially change. Don't throw it at ME or the table for God's sake!
2. Waiting for the receipt. Most just don't.
3. Need to realize that just because we sell it we did not: make, use, price, or place it. So stop giving us grief!
4. Check for PRICE LABELS!!! Yes, I know they aren't always there but most times they are. Usually on the bottom or side of the object.
5. Sales Associates are PEOPLE working to earn something just like you when you are working, but because we are on the job we can't say the rude things we are thinking to your face, so please have some common sense, courtesy, and respect. Or you will be going to hell.

I think it was a bad day and I was a little bitter and very bored... ya know?

PART II

Hypothetical Question
Is it rude to ask guests to leave when we are supposed to close or are they rude for staying after closing?

PART III

Random Thoughts
Parents please teach your children to pick things up and put them where they found them in the first place... ps. You need to do this yourselves.

Dave Matthews Band gave their first gold album to WVGO 106.5 FM. A station in Richmond, VA that my Dad worked for (because he's a badass mothafucka!!!).

Well there you have it! What goes through my mind at work. Usual? Me thinks... yes. :D

Duuuuuude THAT IS AWESOME!!! Look! Look!

You will live in Shack.
You will drive a Lime Green VW Jetta.
You will marry Tyron Leitso and have 4 kids.
You will be a Anthropologist in Dublin, Ireland.

Ahh it's been so long since we used to play that! I had totally forgotten about it. Speaking of forgotten things though, does anyone remember how to play Spit? It's another one of those childhood memories I lost. BUT look what I found! I never even knew what all seven wonders were, but now I do! Ah happy day! :)

Monday, June 10

Right so we can put little checks beside reading, writing, and cutting. But the litter box must be saved until tomorrow. Harry Potter still kicks ass though. I want to go to Hogwarts and learn how to be a witch now. But I'm too old, they need a magical university!! :D

p.s. The Hallmark channel is butchering the Odyssey. 'Tis the fate of the classics perhaps.

YAY! YAY! My Harry Potter DVD just came!!! Finally! So now I need to watch it and play with all the special features. That's what I'll be doing along with...

1. Expanding my knowledge on Celtic Mythology
2. Cleaning the litter box
3. Cutting up paper (collage pictures at the bottom)
4. Writing in my Journal :)

HAPPY TRAILS!!!

Sunday, June 9

Well this weekend was pleasantly eventful. With tours of Cactus Houses and festivals. Mom and I went and saw Bad Company and I liked it, pretty funny with some good 'ol bombs and shit. We saw a preview for this new movie with some hot guys and dragons. That might be interesting... me thinks.

My sunburn has moved past the painful stage and onto itchy. This just means that the peeling is that much closer. Joy. I do like scratching better than wincing though, anyday. I hope hiking was fun! tee hee
And that your hair is green in a little while, without the stress.

Thursday, June 6

Yesterday I was very productive for a change!! Dad and I went to the DMV to get my new decals (that might be how you spell them) and I renewed my driver's liscense. I can now say that I own one of the stupidly vertical liscenses now and will have it for the overwhelming period of a YEAR! The picture is of course crappy, my face is all shiny and my mouth is open. Uhhh I dunno, she said "Ready?", I said "yes" and somehow my mouth was open when she snapped, interesting. I went through the trouble of drying my hair and everything to look like a frog. Sheesh. Then we went to the mall to pick up a filter from Sears, Mom's lawnmower was broken... but now it isn't! :D Then Dad had to head back to Kannapolis so I spent the rest of the afternoon finishing off my CSD tapes.

I need to make an invitation flyer... any ideas?

Tuesday, June 4

Right well I've got nothing... except a stomache and two diminished lumps on my neck. Yesterday was slow but I did manage to catch the FIRST episode of Sailor Moon on Cartoon Network @ 3:30 which means they might start reshowing the series!! I have kinda been on an anime kick lately, watching some Ah! My Goddess and CLAMP School Detectives. Boredom is cruel.

Sunday, June 2

Hello out there in TV Land! I'm posting from my Granny's house on her brand spankin' new computer! :) I came over this afternoon to burn a CD and help her figure out email and IMs.

Yesterday I went to the Cold Harbor reenactment with my mom and some of her friends. It was actually pretty interesting. They fired the cannon, which was loud, and their rifles, which sounded like little pellet blasters or something. Then they had this band that played music from the Civil War period.... it was interesting. Finally they had these candlit tours through the battlefield and the earthworks. It was awesome! It was all dark and we were out in the forest in these medium sized groups. They lead us through the battlefield and the reenactors were there acting like it was actually during the battle at Cold Harbor and we were reinforcements just sent it. It was really amazing because sometimes you could actually feel like you might really be in 1864, that is until the kids started talking/whining and everyone went buck wild with their flashlights. I enjoyed myself though. And at the end of the tour they brought us to two men who were digging up the graves on the battlefieds to give the solidiers proper burials and they asked if anyone knew why the war was even fought because they sure as hell didn't. It made me think and it really disturbed me to think that back then most regular people probably didn't really know why we were fighting. If they weren't politicians or soldiers why would they know? And they fought for so long and so many people died, it's just crazy to think that people were wandering around asking why and being totally clueless. That just really stuck with me after we left.

Mom, Caesar, and I also got haircuts yesterday. I have pseudo bangs. :D

Saturday, June 1

Welcome to June!!! :) I just wanted to post something since I was actually AWAKE this early.
