The rock was amazing! I got up before sunrise and walked around the entire base, it was so huge and beautiful. Actually I got up before sunrise three days in a row so it lost it's magical touch towards DAY TWO. :D So much fun. There are Aboriginal stories associated will all parts of it too. All the cracks and bumps, really cool stuff too. I got to camp out under the stars and eat food cooked in fire pots and loads of BBQs. I saw dingo tracks but no wild dingos or kangaroos for that matter. Too many tourists I guess. The people on the trip with me were really awesome too. I met this one really cool Canadian chick and an Irish couple. I was the only American in my group so it was a lot of fun. I got to meet more people I think and no one was too obnoxious or anything. :) I'm actually glad I ended up going on my own because I think I met more people this way. So there was no need for worry! I'm just a big pansy, but not anymore. I'm not super brave or anything either, just not a pansy. More like yuppie at this stage. ;)
