It is NOT mono. I have cat scratch fever... seriously! :) After waiting two and a half hours I discovered that either my lymph nodes are just swollen because of a viral infection, I have some infection you can get from cat scratches, or in some horrific world I have cancer. I'm just supposed to "monitor" the lumps and see if they change and come back for a follow-up in a month. The doc scared me for a second because he looked at them and then went to get another doctor to check them out. He even started talking about cancer as a worst case scenario and my mom was like ummmm no, it's the cat. Either way my neck is still sore. Looks like it's time to start abusing the aleve and tylenol pm.
