My JET interview went well. I had them nodding their heads to my answers sometimes and got them to laugh. All good signs. Getting there was the trip. I've noticed that all the big moments in my life are surrounded by chaos and it's not just because I'm crazed while I'm in them, even looking at them after the fact they're crazed. Metro breaking down, mad ass traffic in DC, running through the streets to get to the Embassy and still being late!! Whewness. I'm glad that's done! Now I'm off to find work at the Smithsonian. :D

Ahhhhhhhh!!! I just went to the JET website and I was reading about interviews on the message boards. They asked about lesson plans and 3 things people would bring to Japan to help them in the classroom. Dah hell?! I know SHIT about teaching! How am I supposed to think of this stuff? Totally clueless, totally wigging out. How did we learn English as kids? And what if I have high schoolers? Holy Bejesus. I read another that asked what would you do if you got invited to the baths with some fellow teachers? This is naked bathing people I'm in for that but then again. Hrm... and they asked one girl what she would do if she got groped. Ummm I don't think they'd like bitch slap their motherfucking dirty ass or the look of shocked digust I'd give them if they asked that. Dammit man. Dammit all. I'm going to the Smithsonian mother freakers.

I am tired, sleeping patterns screwed. Junior Banquet was good. :) I made it back alive, fishtailed on a tiny bit of ice. The ice was actually good because it woke me up nice and fast, it's no good being sleepy and driving. Now I have lab, then Anth sem, and a Latin test.

Hope for me. I need mature friends, sleep, and a depleted work load. Motivation to deplete work load would also be much appreciated.

The weekend has a plan. Unlike this week, after my presentation Monday, whew I have been blowing time like it's made of air. But not this weekend! Oh no. There seems there's work to be done and I will do it.

Tonight is my first night with the full on Latin tutoring, and they have a test Friday. I don't want people to come in because I suck at Latin and don't need the world to know this. But I think they might. :( Mang! If they don't I'll get some studying for my own Latin test underway, which would be good. And after that it's CSI and radio rock out with Sascha and Brandy!

Tonight on the show I'm going to play this song from Viggo's Mortenson's CD pandemoniumfromamerica. Elijah and Dom singing like chipmunks, I think Amherst with def rock out to that one. Mos def. Otherwise my CDs need some serious rotation else people are going to call in like, "Ya'll played this shit last semester!!" It's hard to please the masses.

OHHHHHH!!!!! I was pleased today when WNRN, the partner station to us in Charlottesville played some XTC and then some STING. It was 10 mins of musical joy for dah Brandy! ;) I was just pleasantly surprised by the XTC and the Sting was like a bonus. That means I shouldn't play it on the show tonight... I think I'll go with Clash then. Little supermarket personality song. :D tee hee

Justin said it was an accident, "costume malfunction" with the whole Janet exposure and CBS is pissed. Meanwhile the streaker achieves a life long goal at the Superbowl. And in an hour I will be giving my 30 min presentation on the Olympics. I wish it were 2 hours from now really so it would be over. :p
