Anime club was fun! Very long and the anime we watched mediocre but I was entertained. I'm just happy to be all involved again. It's very exciting! :)

Otherwise exactly nothing got done today except for me eating and watching anime. I might do a little eating again later. In fact that's very probable. Maybe some Latin or South Asia writing will sneak in, but I'm not holding my breath for it.

Goal for today:
Finish all research on the history of the Olympics. I'm close! Then move into nationalism and anthropology. Good stuff.

Goal for weekend:
Finish research totally. Classics 3-pager. Latin. Ethnography. South Asia. These are in order as well. Plus I need to meet with Wayne about career stuff. Mmmm ya!

Wait. What tis 'zis??? NO CLASSES AGAIN! Weds I only have one class, which was cancelled! Too much ice on the roads my friends. It causes accidents in which thankfully no one is hurt, but still. 29 didn't look that bad yesterday, but who knows about the secondary roads around here. Whew.

Oh! We I did a good deed today too! There was a girl in the parking lot whose battery was dead and she needed a jump. But first we (Nausheena, Karen, Michelle, and I) all got to help push her car out of the space over the snow. It took six of us girls a couple of tries, us, the girl, and her friend. I'd never pushed a car before either! But we kicked ass! Sweet!! I was very happy with all of us for that one. :) hehehe

Oh I have some gloating for you my friend. Basically, I had NO CLASSES TODAY! HAH! They cancelled classes again around 2:30 so all afternoon classes... gone. Beautiful. So I have had two days of nada except work on this presentation. Lots of work in that department. :) It's a good thing! I need to be ready for next Monday as much as possible so I don't freak out.

Nausheena, Karen, Michelle, and I braved the roads (which really weren't so bad) to go to Food Lion and make our own dinner tonight. Pizza, Garlic Bread, Salad, Ice Cream, and Strawberry Shortcake. Aw man we were so full after that! With food like that and all this snow all I want to do is sleep. Small eternity, REM it up babe!

I'm afraid not though, there remains work to be done! All the stuff I put off for presentation time. And still more presentation research. :p

It's sleeting/snowing here again. Classes were not cancelled but delayed so I did end up missing my morning class. No biggie there. And my second class of the day was cancelled. So I only have Classics Senior Sem for the afternoon! Woo! Lisa is MIA, I don't think she would want to drive back from Richmond in this, I wouldn't. Otherwise it looks like another reading day for me. I am mad catching up on my presentation work. And it feels gooooooooooooooooood.

SNOW DAY

My head feels like it's about to explode. I just finished Latin - and need I say I still hate the language? I do. I spent two hours working on one letter which wasn't so bad because there were notes to help and vocab, but the second letter. No way. I ended up so frustrated! I know I'll get looks in class because it's so bad and I didn't even bother to finish it but I just can't stand sitting around translating. I even took a break before starting on the second one! UGH! Last Thursday Latin was bad because I butchered the translation then as well, but you know what. I don't give a fuck! I hate the language, hate translating it, and have other shit that needs to get done for MORE IMPORTANT REASONS! Like this damn presentation I wake up stressed over. Dammit man!! DAMMIT!!!!!!

I'm done ranting for now. I was just angry and still am. Stupid school.

Well then. Dad's was fun, driving with Justin wasn't as terrible as expected. Except for the lack of musical variety but driving back was cool because Dad got us both XM Radio!! Woo woo! That's me the rocking chick with 101 channels listening to only music from the 1950s if I want too. And they have techno stations, classical rock. Very cool. So the drive back was better, much better. Even the traffic was better, but not the rain. Petersburg was a foggy stink with bad drivers. But I made it to and from alive and had a good time in between.

Saturday night we went out to eat some sushi and check out live bands in the area. The bands were ok sometimes and then blew other times. By the end of the night everyone was jamming... even Justin. [[astounded silence]] Who knew?? He did fall back into punk mode when he wanted to leave and I have confirmed all my opinions that his girlfriend leads him around by the balls and is still ungrateful. Little bitch.

Today is my take is easy day. Only one class at 11:30. But this week and the next it's going to be mad research day to get ready for my presentation the first week of February. [cringe] Ew EW. It's supposed to be 30 mins long!! Dah hell?! So I'm coming down from my weekend high mighty fast. Poo on school. Big poo.

Wow, who would have thought Week 1 and the fun & games would begin. So soon! It's maddening but then again senior sems just couldn't wait. Work begins now. I hope that also means that work ends sooner, but it's less likely. Good news is that if I pass all my classes this semester I will graduate on time because all my Gen Eds are in order and nicely arranged according to pain levels. That was today's worries. Next I have Latin homework - I hate translating and I'm bad at it. How quaint! But aside from that it's time to head down south and visit the pops! Justin and are going tomorrow morning instead of pulling an all night driving fiesta. Dad was cool with it and me too. Justin is neutral but he's not driving so neh. :p

I just wanted to post something about my day! It was good. :D My Intro to GIS seems like it's going to be really interesting and I will gain a skill in that one! Oooooohhhh. Then Anthro senior sem is gonna be tough, I'm sweating that one, and I didn't have Latin because my teacher is sick but I'm forcasting much work there.

Tomorrow should be good too. All anthropology classes and the Classics senior sem, which I am bound to enjoy! That class will be fun! There's only three of us for Pete's sake!! So life is looking pleasantly glorious. :D

Aie! I got a blue flying elephant who is going on my dorm door. So that all may see the genius artwork and postcard master's work. They should be so blessed. I love mail! Yours was delivered with my final archaeology assignment, good company, good company. Classes today! Not for another hour, but I have some business to attend to about graduating properly. Stupid Gen Eds. Evil Evil.

Sorry today was a bust. I was just in high gear lazy mode. Haven't done a damn thing except read and finish the latest book I was on. That means I have 9 left to read of those I got for Christmas! Some are parts of series though, like books 1 and 9 respectively from a Robert Jordan series I asked for. So really I can't read the ninth one or I'd be really confused.

I think I'm going to dive into one from the Dune series next because I can and will enjoy myself. Actually I have a bunch by this one author so maybe I should get into some of those and lower the odds. Equalize the authors ya know.

I still need a bday present for Dad and a Christmas one for Jo, especially since I'm going back to school Sunday. Balls.

The pictures are up, which means less than a year after coming home all of my pictures from abroad are now available on the internet. The digital ones of course, I'm not scanning shit.

Everyone survive New Year's? Excellent, excellent. I learned that my Mom thinks Adult Swim on Cartoon Network is stupid and that I should be nicer to my friends when buzzed and playing Clue. Not that I'm trying to be mean, what's scary is that it just happens. Like I'm just evil underneath it all. Not torture animals evil though, more like a Candy Land version.

I put another doll on eBay this afternoon! Whoo to the sales!! Empty space as I see it, more room for other collected junk under the bed... like puzzles I've done. I've only done like three puzzles though. They are for my bored but patient days and how common does that sound?
