Ok so last night was the radio show, it was supposed to be world music night and it was in a sense. Sascha and I found out that the school was showing Rocky Horror and people were supposed to dress up and come, the whole shabang. I've seen the movie, but never with the yelling and props and people dancing around. It was really a lot of fun actually. But it started at 10:30, the radio show started at 10. So what happened last night was that I found the longest CD I had, about 79 1/2 minutes go me! And we played that from 10:30 to about 11:45. Wanna know what the CD was? Nausheena's DJ remix of nothing but rocking Indian music for the grooving soul. Not really, it was just Indian music which is all dancey and fun. I think it is. Whether or not people in the Amherst/Lynchburg area felt the same in a different story. We weren't in the station so I don't know if people called in or what. But we raced back in time to switch over to WNRN and then went back to the movie for the end bits. I missed all the good stuff in the middle though, but not Tim Curry's intro song, mmmm good. ;) It was pretty cool though, Sweetville isn't super cultish or anything but I saw the different sides of plenty of girls last night, plus a lot of underwear. I do not question though... I just laugh and enjoy.

To go over the festival real quick like I'd have to say that everyone I'm attracted to now is older and married, which makes me wonder. My pro athelete was actually just recently married so if I had been on the ball I coulda snagged him... and not married him. Right, that musta been meant to be. :D My English is evolving so naturally! I really gotta jet, so I'll put some more up soon. And you should to, everyone wants to know what's happening in Carrie's life.
So TELL them!

1. Name five things in your refrigerator.
White peaches-frozen rock hard, water, orange juice, smirnoff ice-black of course, and a fruit cup i didn't know i had and am now eating.
2. Name five things in your freezer.
Maybe an ice tray or two, it's a little dorm fridge.
3. Name five things under your kitchen sink.
Back home that would be pots and pans, trays, papertowels, and lids. Just cooking stuff.
4. Name five things around your computer.
Said fruitcup, Vergil's Aeneid-in Latin for you whussies out there, richmond highland games daily schedule, calling card, and cell phone.
5. Name five things in your medicine cabinet.
I don't have one of these at school, nor do we have one at home. Medicine cabinets ARE for whussies!! :P
HiYAH!
My arm is sore from throwing branches over the fence yesterday, the backyard is finally clean though. :) Well... clean of tree branches. I should really take a shower, my contacts are sticking to my eyes. You know what that means.

Brigid, the great mother goddess of Ireland,
represents fertility, childbirth, power,
creativity and inspiration. Also known as
Brighid, Brigit and Bride, she is credited as a

Goddess of fire, the sun, music and medicine.

Friday night was a crazy mix of sushi, rain, tears, and of course WalMart. I went out to dinner with the femmes (it's new for chicas/girlies because we're hardcore, rock!) Nausheena, Megan, and Michelle. We grabbed some sushi and then Megan and I were supposed to head out to the "place to be" here in Sweetville... Cattle Annies. Yes, they have line dancing. But the other femmes (I am a tool) bailed on us, Sascha, Jo, Karen, etc so we ended up heading to WalMart for snacks then Blockbuster to not get a movie. I skidded on the turn into Blockbuster, it was a heart stopper and then I laughed because I can't drive in the rain anymore apparently. Then we ended up watching the ULTIMATE Seven Brides for Seven Brothers!! Sadly, I have forgotten some of the words, but they were coming back to me! I remembered all the brothers names though. I rock.
Then Saturday I woke up in time to wonder when Mom was coming into town, I sat around and made some more brandy dolls instead of doing homework, because I was still rocking. :D Mom came down and we headed to the festival at noon. It was packed! Lynchburg and the surrounding areas must save up for this one because folks was out in force. Mom told me some interesting work stories which I will save for a later post since this one is looking epic length (I rock AND am the next Vergil! SWEET!!). We ended up trying to local wine and walking around with our little free glasses full like the rest of the cool people. Mom bought this pottery wine holder thing, some earrings, a charm, and a ring por la me. :) Then she bought this birdhouse thing for the garden - from the guy with the biggest FRO ever. That was of epic porportions man. Totally. Like for real. Then we went out to dinner again because I can never eat enough sushi in a one month period. And the evening wrapped up with me happily watching 1-800 Missing on Lifetime with Nausheena. We had roomate bonding time. ^.^
Sunday I didn't get dressed. I had showered the night before so I was clean. I did homework all day except when I ate. And that night I went and listened to the JMU Boy Toy Band. They aren't really a band but a capella group just didn't flow. I'll add more tomorrow, this is just really long.

Mostly about his idiot wench of a co-host. Sascha and Jo were looking at his picture on the internet and Sascha called into the station. *This is all last night after our show* So Sascha calls up and says "hey play this band and we're looking at the website and you need bigger pictures (of himself). You know how we are down here at Sweet Briar." So he laughs and goes on and plays the band for us, but when they come back on the air his co-host says that the song was for the "girls down in Sweet Briar sweatin Erik," all condescending and shitty. That twat! Jo wanted to call back up right then but we didn't let her and I was saying "that was so mean, why did she have to be so ugly," it was almost cat fight on the stupidest of levels. >_< I'm just saying it was a crap thing to do, and we've never even talked to HER, he's the one that always calls. She just went to an ugly place, very unecessary (how do you spell that word?) so she must suck. There's another girl at school here that I don't know, but she apparently doesn't like me. What tha?? She must suck too. There's just no other explanation. ;)
Movin along! Tomorrow is the Garlic Festival up here. It's at a winery about 5 miles down the road, Mom is coming down to visit and a bunch of us are going. Druken weekend part 2? No bloody heaving this time. It's wine, if anything I'll be fuzzy headed and laugh a lot. Mmm I love sweet wine. Ok well that's me! Saturday is going to be my only fun day, everything else is work and suffering. :P One weird paper on commodities (I know what the hell right?), I had to cancel my career services meeting today because I never made my resume and my grad school list is treading in the ocean... and struggling. I should be working now, but I don't want to. It's that easy.
I got paid today! Most excellent! ^.^
I deposited my check too, and drove through a private road that I shouldn't have. But no one ran out with shot guns, so I'll take my luck and drive down another road next time. It used to be a shortcut and now it has signs saying "stay the hell off!" very unfriendly locals there. Ruining a good shortcut to the bank and everything. Dammit.

Mom and I also saw The Rundown, which was The Rock at his goober best! But not really. :( The wrestling fan in me still lives, but I think Sean Williams Scott is a skinny wanker who looks like a weasel or some type of rodent. Eew. Go see Underworld!!! YAY!!! I'm going to work on some chemistry and archaeology. BOO!!!
