Ok the concert was one huge moshpit! Luckily I don't bruise easily, ahem, and ended up with only one on my knee from when I was pushed over. Yes, Aussie guys are dicks who will look you straight in the eye and shove you. You don't treat girls like that!!! COME ON!!!!!!! >_< Machine gun Fellatio was really good though. I must check out their CD, plus I'm working on recording the radio hear and sending it to you. I think you might like it. Maybe... There was another band called Erratic that opened for them and they were pretty good too. I've been writing down band names that I want to check out so that I don't forget them. I must come home with good and different Aussie music! I must!

Anyways, on to something else. I have finally gotten some pictures onto a disk and onto picturetrail!! They are in the Updatery section and I'm thinking that I'm going to have to get a new account for strictly Australia pictures. Yay! Yay! Yay! :D

Ok U2 cover bands are not that cool. But U2 is the BEST! I have to write a paper on Larrikins which is much more interesting than the parvenu. AND tonight I get to see Machinegun Fellatio, fun fun! I will write more later about the wild spunkiness that is a crazy-ass band and a bunch of drunk Aussies eating barbecue, after it happens of course!

You will never EVER guess man!!! Last Thursday was one badass motha fuckin' day man! See the Commonwealth Games just finished in Manchester and Australia cleaned house. So they were having welcome home parades in all the states here. Well Thursday was the day of the Sydney one so I HAD TO GO! I missed two classes but the sacrifice was well worth it because.... I NOW HAVE PICTURES OF IAN THORPE!! THAT'S RIGHT I SAW HIM! He was like 5 feet from me signing autographs so there are heads in the way of the picture and I couldn't get really, really close but he's in them! I am so excited!!! :) That kept me on a high for like three days this past weekend, then the rest of the 30-some Arcadia group started to annoy the hell outta me. But still Ian was there and I was there! It was magical.

Afterwards Sienna and I went walking around and we found a really cool used CD store. Like Plan 9 but with Australian artists along with some American ones. And loads of techno!! Muy, MUY bien! This weekend was blah like I said, the group was annoying me. We went to the beach and I got to play in the sand though. The water was cooooooooooold! Ah! Ah! I also got a POSTCARD today! Wonderful glorious mail with fresh and ripe Hanover tomatoes on it! :-D Me loves dah Carrie.

Ok so did the time thing work out? You're still posting on VA time right? I was worried about that for a bit and that's why I wanted you to hurry up and put something up! :) The birthday was fun!! I went and saw whales because they were visiting the harbor to breed, two of them and very cool. It was like this: there I am standing at the Opera House checking out some whales. Both things were very, very cool. Then that night I went out and danced my arse off. I danced to much that the day after my thighs were hella sore and walking up/down stairs was painful. It was a very good night though, I didn't have to buy a single drink for myself and some random dude offered to give me a foot massage! The foot thing is nasty so I said no but still, there was thought there.

This weekend was pretty bum. I didn't do anything today or Friday. I don't have classes on Fridays. :D Happy. Happy! Saturday I went shopping and got a stereo which thank God will keep my sane now. I was missing the tunes man. Last night we went out for some dancing and boozing. I ended up having to walk back alone at 2am which was scary and I will NEVER do that again. But thankfully I returned whole and unharmed. Whew! Well classes at 10 tomorrow. It's terrible that I have to leave my apartment (hehe MY apartment) half an hour early to walk allllll the way over to campus and my classes. Quite a change I'll tell ya!
